T O P I C R E V I E WCeridwensomething strange happened to me in the night from monday to tuesday.A few minutes after midnight I awoke with a start because I could hear a yelling alarm signal.I thought maybe it was my firealarm which had been going off, and went into the kitchen, where everything was alright and then into the livingroom, where the alarm was the loudest. All the while the yelling sound was there. It was only when I was in the livingroom that I realized that i do not even have a fire alarm there. My fire alarm is in the sleepingroom,b ut the sound was the loudest in the livingroom near to my TV.(I had been watching an episode of "supernatural" the evening before, and I jokingly said to a friend some weeks ago that it seemed wierd things are happening whenever I watch this series, cause usually the air is crackling with intense energy shortly afterwards, like I connect to something of that series, but it usually is just a feeling inside, not a noise outside. lol Well, unless we count the flickering of lightbulbs during certain scenes. )Anyway, when I was standing int he livingroom, the alarm suddenly died down.so I went back to sleep. I thought that maybe the alarm in my parents room, which is directly over mine, might have mistakenly gone off.I asked them the other day about it, but they hadn`t heard a single sound! Noone in the whole house had, and it was so loud, I thought I would be goind deaf.Very strange.I guess it`s time to pay attention to something for me. At no point I felt panic or even frightened, just startled and curious about what the heck was that noise and where it ws coming from. Alma SunThat's creepy weird. CeridwenActually I was given seasalt as a souvenir some weeks ago. Now I know why. NickiGvery strange....you know, when i was at work, i was clocking out, about to go home and i could have sworn that the break room was filled with a thin film of smoke....i couldnt smell it but everything looked smokey, as if there were a small fire but i looked at all of the vents and nothing....and it seemed to have disappeared when i stepped out of the break room------------------I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in historyCeridwenFascinating, Nicki.I was wondering if it is maybe that something we perceive subconsciously is being projected outside, so it comes to our conscious attention?Something that is telling us: pay attention?though I have no clue why it should be a firealamr or smoke (I have been seeing smoke myself some times, though not as intense as you described it).NickiGit didnt really look intense....but the feeling was very intense...maybe, like you said, they really are warningsand stranger enough, i didnt even look at this thread until after my experience with the pseudo smokewhere do you happen to live, btw?------------------I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history

though I have no clue why it should be a firealamr or smoke (I have been seeing smoke myself some times, though not as intense as you described it).
and stranger enough, i didnt even look at this thread until after my experience with the pseudo smoke
